I have used Konsyl for over a year and it helps me, but it is very difficult to mix. The best way to take it is to add a little lemon juice and sugar to water, warm in the microwave for 30 seconds add a teaspoon of Konsyl and mix for a few seconds. That is the only way I have found to dissolve it and to make it tasty at the same time. You could add honey too.

I have taken many fiber products - Metamucil, Benefiber, Citrucel and the last one being Unifiber. Even though I started slowly, they all caused terrible gas. I am now trying Konsyl and it seems to not only work better for constipation, but I have no gas! I am starting out with one teaspoon once a day and I will gradually get to the recommended dose of one teaspoon twice a day. It is hard to mix with juice, but using a wisk helps.

Since taking Konsyl my IBS symptoms have improved! It works better than the Citrucel I tried first. Konsyl offers a free shaker cup that you can request from their website, and that makes it easy to take with my juice.

I am on my third pregnancy, and like with the other two, I am having trouble with constipation. I heard about Konsyl in a pregnancy magazine, and wanted to try it. I am happy to say that I had a good bowel movement by the morning. I have to take it on a nightly basis to stay regular.
