What is ginger?
Ginger is a plant which is grown in Asia, India, West Africa and the Caribbean. It is often called root ginger because it is the tuber or base part of the plant that is used for medicinal and cooking purposes.
What symptoms does it treat?
Ginger is traditionally used to treat symptoms of nausea, but it is also used for general digestive symptoms and indigestion.
How is it taken?
Ginger roots are available in original form from supermarkets, and tablets or capsules are also widely available.

I have found chewing crystallized ginger after meals very helpful. Ginger is well known as an anti-nausea treatment but it is also excellent for indigestion etc.
